Ministry to the Sick and Homebound

St. Paul Parish Ministry to the Sick and Homebound takes the faith of our Church to parishioners who are unable, because of illness, to attend Mass at the Church.

We ensure the ill of our Parish are able to participate as fully as possible in our worship and activities.

We listen with all of our senses to them and bring their concerns to the attention of our Parish leaders while respecting and keeping sacred confidentiality.

We learn to ask and anticipate their spiritual needs and ensure they are fulfilled.

There are currently 32 active ministers to the sick and homebound in St. Paul Parish who visit more than 26 separate homes.

Would you care to join us? We would love to have you share this loving Ministry with us. Volunteers will be fully trained and prepared before being scheduled for visitation.  For more information or to volunteer for this Ministry call Karen Hurskainen 916-688-0332.
