SACRAMENTS

Home • Baptism • Reconciliation • Eucharist • Confirmation • Anointing of the Ill • Holy Orders

The Latin word Sacramentum means "a sign of the sacred." The  sacraments are the signs that point to what is sacred, significant and important for Christians. They are special ways of experiencing God's saving presence. That's what theologians mean when they say Sacraments are at the same time signs and instruments of God's grace.

The Sacraments at St. Paul are:
Baptism
Eucharist
Confirmation
Anointing of the Ill
Reconciliation
Marriage

Holy Orders

For information on how to prepare your children or yourself for eucharist and confirmation please see out Faith Formation information.
