The Catholic Daughters of the Americas is a Ministry of Catholic women who share their God-given talents in the charitable and educational Apostolates of the Church. The Ministers strive to fulfill Gospel teachings by working together to raise money for local, state, and national charities. Our motto is "Unity and Charity." Some of our charities are Habitat for Humanity, Smile Train, and McDonald House, to name a few. Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court Sacramento 172 meets in the new Educational Center class room # 1. Meetings are on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm. Catholic Daughters of the Americas is the largest national organization of catholic women in the world dedicated to strengthen their spiritual life through Christ and his Church . Catholic lay and religious women, 18 years of age or older, who love and support the Church and wish to participate in social and charitable activities, are welcome. The Catholic Daughters of the Americas #172 will be meeting once again on the 2nd Tuesday of each month in Room 1 at 7 p.m. Ladies, everyone has a unique talent or ability to share - from the gift of gab to the gifts of the Holy Spirit. It is easy! You can do as much or as little in the group as you choose - you chose the projects you are most interested in.
We decide together on every aspect of every project. We are a likeable bunch of ladies!! We seek to find Christ in the programs we embrace.Why belong to the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, founded in 1903?
The gift of faith requires a gift of return. Be of faith and service to God through service to the people around you. Each member shares in the good works of the entire organizataion with little effort on the part of the individual. The spiritual life of members is enhanced through the various spiritual and charitable activities of CDA.
