Indeed, "Rejoice" was a wonderful experience. Looking back three months ago - "Rejoice," began as a brainchild broached by May Gorospe-Favis to us with a simple phone call, then we became the instruments for an idea which wouldn't have become a realization without obtaining a nod from Father Joyle and the Finance & Pastoral Council members.
Next came our requests for the following sectors to respond: sound equuipment and technical assistance from the Godfreys, our son Nathan, the Knights of Columbus, Hospitality Ministry, various St. Paul Ministers for help in selling tickets and the availability of an experienced Master of Ceremonies (Emcee).
Our appreciation goes to our talented home-grown performers (and their parents) for participating in this musical event and most of all for May, whose courage and faith brought her to us here at St. Paul Parish to generously share her message of hope and her gift of song.
Lastly, the audience makes a show a success - thus, we're truly thankful for everyone who purchased tickets and attended the concert and for those who gave monetary donations, a humble and resounding "Thank you".
Ultimately, "Rejoice" is God's project, we all belong to His team. Glory and praise be to God for all His abundant blessings - "You'll Never Walk Alone"!!!
