The Social Justice Ministry endeavors to assist our parishioners first. If any parishioner finds themselves in need of any items mentioned here, please contact the office 916-381-5200 for assistance. Your request will be treated with complete confidentiality.
We welcome the participation of all parishioners who seek to bring about the Kingdom of God here and now, by service to others in our community.
If you wish to join us, please attend any of our meetings. Our regular meetings are held on the second Monday of each month at 1:00 p.m. in the Religious Education Center, Room #1.

Mother Mary’s Baby Shower
Baby items are still being collected for our "Mother Mary's Baby Shower" to be donated to Maryhouse. A big “thank you” to those who have already brought items. The items requested for babies, whose mothers are homeless, or living in extreme poverty: Sizes 5 & 6 diapers, baby food, pull-ups for toddlers, baby bottles, new baby blankets, pacifiers, and baby cereal, maternity clothes.Boxes for your donations are in the entrances of the church, or you may bring them to the parish office during office hours.
We will deliver all the donations on May 12th to Maryhouse, located at Loaves & Fishes, by members of the Social Justice Ministry. Your generosity is appreciated. If you would prefer to make a monetary donation please mark "Social Justice Ministry.” On the outside of the envelope and place it in the collection basket.

Holy Spirit, comforter of hearts, Heal your peoples’ wounds and transform brokenness into wholeness.
Grant us the courage and wisdom humility and grace to act with justice. Breathe wisdom into our prayers and labors.
Grant that all harmed by abuse may find peace and justice. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen
