Some of the last words we hear at the end of each Mass are: “GO IN PEACE!”
Gordon and Joan Grime were long time members of our parish. They had a deep love for us as a parish. Both have left this earthly life to spend eternity with our savior. Gordon died first, and then Joan, but before she died she wanted to leave a memorial for our parish that expressed the love that they had for us. In her will she designated funds to provide a lasting monument, engraved with the words that they both felt comforting. The monument is now at the east exit of our parking lot. This monument represents Gordon and Joan’s request that a we leave the Parish we will spread peace and the word of God to all we meet.
