We are all aware that when the leak of the probable overturning of the ROE vs. WADE by the U.S. Supreme Court, some people were already reacting animosity not only to the honorable justices but also to Christian Churches as they are Pro-Life advocates. As the announcement for its overturning was done last June 23rd, the animosity continues from the pro-choice groups and individuals. Some are protesting peacefully but there are number of groups, like the “Jane’s Revenge” group and other individuals which are very violent in their agenda. As per FBI reports, Jane’s Revenge proclaims “through attacking we find joy” and declares “Open Season” on Anti-Choice (Pro-Life) groups. That would necessarily include our Catholic Church. Church building vandalism and physical threats are in the news nationwide.

We should be very vigilant that if you notice an individual or group of people coming to the church grounds or even inside the church, kindly call the attention of the members of the Knights of Columbus and the hospitality ministers in the church. Our safety is every body’s concern.

Let us pray that this protest will go peacefully. We seek the protection of our Blessed Mother’s intercession by praying the Holy Rosary. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us!
