This year, we will continue our “SIMBANG GABI” – a Catholic traditional religious nine-day novena in preparation for Christmas.

It will start in the evening of the 15th of December until the 23rd of December. The 2nd, 4th and last day will be bilingual to accommodate our Spanish community. There will be POSADAS after those masses. It will be a good opportunity for us to learn each other’s religious ethnic tradition rolled into one. We welcome everyone to sponsor any of the Novena days.

In connection to this, Bishop Soto will commission this Filipino Catholic Tradition (SIMBANG GABI) for the diocese of Sacramento on December 9th at 5:00 PM in St. Catherine of Siena Church in Vallejo. Our parish will have a “Grand Opening of the Simbang Gabi” on December 15 at the St. Paul Plaza by lighting the Christmas trees before the Novena.
