The Catholic Daughters of the Americas is a Ministry of Catholic women who share their God-given talents in the charitable and educational Apostolates of the Church. The Ministers strive to fulfill Gospel teachings by working together to raise money for local, state, and national charities. Our motto is "Unity and Charity." Some of our charities are Habitat for Humanity, Smile Train, and McDonald House, to name a few. Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court Sacramento 172 meets in the new Educational Center class room # 1. Meetings are on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm. Catholic Daughters of the Americas is the largest national organization of catholic women in the world dedicated to strengthen their spiritual life through Christ and his Church . Catholic lay and religious women, 18 years of age or older, who love and support the Church and wish to participate in social and charitable activities, are welcome. Other charities that we service are: Knights of Columbus Council #6922, St. Paul Catholic Church and St. Paul Social Justice Ministry, the Mustard Seed School, Loaves and Fishes, Bishop Gallegos' Maternity Home, Laboure Society, Well Spring Women's Center and many others.
