The 25th Annual Catholic Appeal will be held at St. Paul Parish on the weekend of March 7th and 8th. This annual appeal provides assistance to the poor and the vulnerable, seminarians and catholic education and each one of us.
50% of funds raised support nearly 100 programs run by Catholic Charities of Sacramento and its partner organizations.
25% of funds raised are returned to the parish for our own ministries.
25% of the Appeal offsets the rising cost of education for seminarians currently in formation to serve as priests in our diocese.
Each one of us benefits from participating in the annual appeal as it connects each of us to tens of thousands of people who need our help every day.
Last year an estimated 100,000 people in the Diocese were helped by the appeal. Twenty-five percent (25%) of the funds raised by the parish are returned to the parish. The funds received by the pariush are used by our Social Justice Ministry to aid our parish members who need help.
