Building a Legacy in Florin Since Inception
St. Paul Catholic Church was established to serve the growing agricultural community in the Florin area of Sacramento. What began as a small gathering of faithful families in local homes quickly grew into a mission, fueled by the desire to have a permanent dwelling for the Blessed Sacrament.
Through the tireless fundraising efforts of our early parishioners—from bake sales to the "Annual Yard Sale" tradition—the first bricks were laid. The architecture was designed to reflect traditional Catholic values while embracing the diverse cultural heritage of the Florin community, including our strong Filipino and Hispanic ministries.
Today, St. Paul is more than just a building; it is a spiritual home for thousands. We have expanded our facilities to include a Parish Hall, educational centers, and dedicated spaces for groups like the Knights of Columbus and the Divine Mercy Ministry. As we look to the future, we remain rooted in the apostolic zeal of our patron, St. Paul.
"For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ." — 1 Corinthians 3:11
